The BPA Brand Report allows media owners to showcase all e-media touchpoints that their brand utilizes. As media evolves to new platforms and method of distribution, BPA Worldwide will continue to work to provide standards to allow media owners to exhibit their efforts to provide the richest content experience possible to their consumers.

Some examples of E-Media that can be reported include:

Digital Magazines/Newsletters

Digital MagazineThe required reporting standard of distribution for digital magazines and newsletters is net deliveries based on data from SMTP log files. The logs must record data for all outgoing digital products and there must also be records for those that have failed to be delivered (bounce logs or records). Bounce records must have identifiers that tie into the original delivery attempt record.

It is optional for media owners to report metrics beyond delivery with open rate, frequency of access and duration the most common.

White Papers

White PaperWhite paper reporting is very straightforward in that it is a download to an email address. Demographics may also be reported if collected.

 

 

 

Webinars

WebinarsWebinar reporting is the number of actual attendees. Demographics, if collected, may also be reported. Media owners may optionally report the total number of registrants as well.

 

 

Mobile Apps

Mobile AppsApps are measured as downloads to a mobile device. As an option, usage indicators such as frequency of access, number of transactions and duration may be reported.

 

 

Mobile Web

Mobile WebThe reporting metrics for mobile web are the same as for standard web and the option exists to show separate traffic data for each along with a combined total.

 

 

Blogs/Social Media

Social MediaBlogs and social media channels are developing every day as are the metrics that define their activity. Fans, followers, connections, members and contacts all signify interaction with a social platform and are reported as such. Optionally, frequency of access, duration, etc. may be reported based on the measurements that are collected by the channel.
