Dubai Consultancy Becomes BPA Marketing Partner
Under a recently signed agreement, the Dubai Consultancy Research and Media Centre (DCRMC) will work to enhance and support BPA Worldwide's growing media membership in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries comprising the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The DCRMC will assist in marketing new BPA memberships and supporting existing members in these countries through non-auditing customer services activities. BPA's current members and applicants in the Gulf region include the English and Arabic editions of Channel Middle East and Windows User, as well as Construction Week, Aviation Business, Ahlan!, Gulf Defence Magazine, What's On, and the textiles trade show Motexha.
The DCRMC is a privately owned firm whose overall mission is to serve the public and private sectors in the UAE by providing economic, financial, management and total quality management (TQM) consultancy and training services to governmental bodies and privately owned businesses. Its Research Division provides clients with specialized research and studies, including market assessments.
"Partnering with BPA Worldwide, to encourage publishers in this region to have their circulations audited to BPA's world-respected standards, represents another important way for the DCRMC
to further its mission of contributing to the creation of highly efficient and effective organization and business working environments," said DCRMC President Ahmed Obaid Al-Mansoori.
"We are excited and pleased to have the DCRMC as a marketing partner, and confident that this relationship will indeed contribute to the continued economic growth in the Gulf region," added Glenn Hansen, president and CEO of BPA Worldwide. "Our growing membership here reflects media owners' increasing awareness that providing assurance to media buyers through BPA's independent verification is bound to benefit them in the advertising and marketing arenas. This awareness has also been demonstrated by recent developments such as the formation of the GCC Advertisers Association and the Media Agencies Council, and advertising standards work by the Dubai Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA)."
