DUBAI HOTEL INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS
iCompli was commissioned by the Dubai Corporation of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) to create custom sustainability requirements for the Dubai hospitality industry. These rules are now embedded into government requirements in the form of an updated Hotel Classification System.
ISO Management Systems Standards – 9001, 14001, 20121, 27001
iCompli performs certification to a number of ISO Management Systems standards, with a process rooted in ISO 17021 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems and adapted to meet practical business needs of your company. Stage 1 of the certification includes a full review documentation, policies, plans and records to ascertain compliance with the standard, and Stage 2 focuses on implementation via site visits and interviews with key personnel with knowledge of the organization’s management practices. Our certification provides company management with specific recommendations for improvement, and gives external stakeholders an independent opinion on the company’s compliance to the ISO standard.
Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
For certain companies, an advanced understanding of its climate-related risks and opportunities is necessary. iCompli can support the production of a complete, accurate and relevant response to the Financial Stability Board’s (FSB) Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). iCompli evaluates your current disclosures, annual reports and other relevant financial documents, analyzes them for alignment with the TCFD recommendations, and provides prescriptive recommendations for incorporating TCFD criteria and improving the quality of climate-related disclosures.
Emissions, Energy and Water Data Verification

Our assurance statement includes the boundaries of the engagement, the verified data figures, the period covered, the verification standard used, the assurance opinion, and the assurance provider name and credentials. In addition, iCompli provides a detailed report of our findings, along with recommendations for how environmental data systems can be improved.
